KATHERINE F. BERCASIO, Irene, as friends and family call her, is an accomplished and indefatigable graphic designer and visual strategist whose works have left an indelible imprint across the globe.
Her trail of achievements began in her native Philippines where she designed the local editions of Cosmopolitan and Maxim magazines as Art Director and Creative Director, respectively, for Summit Media and ABS-CBN, two of the country’s leading media companies, in addition to Philippine Daily Inquirer’s Hinge Media as the lead Creative. In between those positions, she had a two-year stint as Art Director for MediaCorp in Singapore.
She developed a passion for mentoring as a valued faculty member of De La Salle College of Saint Benilde in Manila. She has authored graphic design text books and course wares that fuse her talent for design with her zest for teaching.
Over the years, she has amassed a vast portfolio of international clients that include wizy.io, a software lab for Google Apps, and Franchise Buyer Magazine in Australia to name a few. She continues to remotely contribute time and talent to the Philippine publishing industry, embracing even its transition to digital platforms with as much dedication and skill.
Katherine has developed key visuals, from logo designs to brand bibles and style guides for commercial brands and Non-Profit Organizations across the globe. Her area of expertise in strengthening or birthing brands spans from food industry, sports gear, real estate and construction, beauty products as well as branding personas.
