If you have NOT heard or don’t know the music of Ryan Cayabyab, you SHOULD go, because:
  1. MrC brings his entertaining triple-threat vocal group The Ryan Cayabyab Singers;
  2. As a multi-awarded Musical Director, he selects a repertoire that works for all audiences, whether you listen to music in Filipino or not;
  3. As TV host of his long-running TV show “Ryan Ryan Musikahan” he knows how to set up what may be new music to you;
  4. You may have seen at AMC Theatres last Jan 2018 the movie musical “Ang Larawan” which he wrote, and recently won the Asia Pacific Film Festival for Best in Film Scoring;
  5. Watch or discover the guest artists:

  •      An exponent of his teen pop group Smokey Mountain, Geneva Cruz, who popularized the song “Paraiso” whose most powerful lyric is “…this tired and hungry land could expect some truth and hope and respect from the world”
  •      Highly acclaimed jazz artists Mon David and Louie Reyes; if you have not heard them sing, you should;
  •      From the cast of MrC’s numerous musicals and operas, Annie Nepomuceno, Miguel Vera and 20-year veteran of the Los Angeles Opera, Tenor Sal Malaki;
  •      Fellow legendary Filipino singer-songwriter, Odette Quesada, who is the Carole King of the Philippines;
  •      Folk dancers Kayamanan ng Lahi will collaborate with young hiphop dance group The Riot using MrC’s music;

   6.  Watch and be inspired by Philippine artists and culture with collaboration with local artists, as experienced their past tours. This is the Ryan Cayabyab Singers 3rd concert tour, and the first after MrC was conferred the title National Artist for Music, a lifetime achievement government award, the Philippine version of the Kennedy Center Honors. MrC received this not only for his music, but for his Elements, Songwriting Camp, Philpop Songwriting Competition, Akapela Open Acapella singing competition, and the Music School of Ryan Cayabyab.

  7.  His 40-year career as a composer, music director, orchestrator and conductor all started with his award-winning song which goes “Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika, Ito ay atin, sailing atin, at sa habangbuhay, awitin natin.”
