President's Duties and Responsibilities
The FACCHO President's duties and responsibilities are different from your regular chamber of commerce President.
- The FACCHO President's term is one year upon elected.
- The Current President of FACCHO is automatically an Executive Board Member of the Coalition of Filipino American Chamber of Commerce (COFACC) once its President has been elected by the FACCHO Board of Directors.
- The President is to host and lead the board meetings and initiate the conference calls.
- The President is the tie-breaker in case of BOD votes are tied. Therefore the President must vote last.
- The President is to attend COFACC organized events as much as he/she can to represent FACCHO
- The President is to attend Film Screenings organized by affiliates to network and represent FACCHO
- The President also may need to attend chamber functions/events that could take a full-day (example)
Some are free events some are not. The President is responsible to pay to attend paid events from their own personal expense and not reimbursable by the chamber. Including mileage/parking, breakfast/lunch/dinner/valet tips. - The President must be at all Signature events organized by FACCHO
- The President is responsible for keeping/storing Signage, Step & Repeat, frames, red carpet, banners, door prizes, and other supplies that an event may need and require.
