COFACC conducts its regular board meetings 100% virtually due to the various time zones of its partner organizations. HOW IMPORTANT IS A BLOG? A Blog is a place where you put the content you’re already creating thru newsletter articles, columns, editorial and events. GOOGLE watches this! This is one of the key takeaways in today’s John E. Swing Leadership Training hosted by COFACC. The guest speaker for today’s training on “Turning Social Media to Business Media” was Kyle Sexton, a brilliant marketing strategist and creator of ChamberPeople.com, the largest online social network dedicated to Chambers of Commerce. COFACC conducts monthly virtual leadership training sessions designed to uplift the leadership and business skills of its partner chamber leaders.  Watch out for our next virtual leadership webinar on August 19, 2022. In attendance in yesterday’s training session were around 37 Chamber leaders in various States from all time zones in the U.S. Coalition of Filipino American Chambers of Commerce Meeting (05.10.22): Representing the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce, Hollywood were board members Katherine Bercasio (Vice President of Marketing/Branding) and Edwin Santos (Vice President of Social Media). "Inspired by the recent addition of two new partner Chambers from Nevada and Michigan States, the Coalition of Filipino American Chambers of Commerce ended its Fiscal Year 2021-2022 with a big bang holding its 12th Executive Board Meeting this past Tuesday night."  "This board meeting was attended by 42 chamber leaders from the 26 partner chamber organizations of COFACC. Kudos and great emceeing by FACC SLAA Board Member Sweeney May Montinola supported by other members of the FACC SLAA leadership team plus of course, the Corporate Team of COFACC! Thank you for the awesome reports of the individual corporate committees of COFACC plus a productive brainstorming session towards the end of the 1-1/2 hrs virtual meeting. Way to go for COFACC as it moves on to the next higher level of engagement with its constituent partner member organizations!"
